Digolearn’s BIg Data Report 2025, to the center of education in Cameroon

Digolearn’s National Report 2025 brings data, analysis and strategic vision to the center of the educational conversation. 5,000 students, 11 schools and a New Horizon for Education in Cameroon.

Over the past few months, the Digolearn team carried out a comprehensive analysis of academic performance data from more than 5,000 students across 11 schools in various cities in Cameroon. The result is the National Academic Report 2025, a document that provides key insights into secondary education in the country, from the most chosen subjects to those presenting the biggest academic challenges.

“Data does not only inform. It inspires, mobilizes and transforms.”

— Ebong Makoge, Founder of Digo Learn

Key Findings:

• Dropout rate below 0.2%.

• Strong preference for practical subjects such as Physical Education, Manual Labour, and Technology.

• Outstanding performance in applied subjects.

• Persistently low scores in Finance, Chemistry, and Applied Mathematics.

• Low enrollment in business and commercial subjects—an opportunity yet to be tapped.

Beyond the Numbers

This report is a compass. The analysis shows that when students are given access to practical, hands-on subjects, their performance significantly improves. But it also reveals gaps: subjects that are essential for the country’s economic future are struggling to attract and engage students.

A Team with Global Vision

This project was made possible through the leadership of Ebong Makoge, Cameroonian founder of Digo Learn, who brings deep local knowledge and a mission to digitize academic processes in the country. Alongside him, Francisco J. Serafini from Argentina, co-founder of the company, brings strategic, analytical, and communicational expertise with international reach.

“This report is a statement of purpose. We want Cameroon to lead the educational transformation in Africa. And we truly believe it can.”

— Francisco J. Serafini, Co-Founder

Looking Ahead Into Cameroon’s Future

This report is not a conclusion, it’s a beginning. At Digolearn, we reaffirm our commitment to working alongside schools, ministries, and communities to implement digital evaluation systems that will foster a fairer, more transparent, and effective education for all.
